Hi, I’m Johnathan Bulot! I am from the greater New Orleans area but called Slidell, La., my home. I graduated from Pope John Paul II Catholic High School in 2018 and began my degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. While attending UL, I was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and served as Pledge Class President of the Alpha Delta Pledge Class. Before coming to KLFY I worked independently on producing interviews with professional athletes and coaches to get experience in sports broadcasting. Some of my favorite interviews I have done are with NBA Hall of Famer Joe Dumars, Super Bowl Champion Jermon Bushrod, and Trey Murphy III of the New Orleans Pelicans.
I joined the KLFY team in December of 2020 after working closely on a research analysis of the company website. I began my time at News 10 by working as a videographer and a morning show editor for Passe Partout. Since then, the company has offered me tremendous opportunities to grow and become an on-air talent. From the Tokyo Olympics with our Japan 2020 coverage, 1st and 10 high school football coverage, filming at the Sun Belt Championship, and more it has been an incredible experience working at TV 10. My favorite memory I have had since beginning at KLFY has to be interviewing Dustin Poirier before UFC 264 where he defeated Conor McGregor. Every day is something new and I can’t wait to see what’s next!
