LAWTELL, La. (KLFY) – St. Landry Parish fire crews are currently on the scene of a house fire near Lawtell. Officials said the call came around 4 p.m.

The fire broke out near the intersection of LA-751 and St. Margaret Road. Witnesses said the home suffered extensive damage.

KLFY is sending a crew to the scene and will have more information as soon as it becomes available.
