Students who attend South Louisiana Community College will have the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences beginning this fall thanks to a new partnership with University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

According to a press release, in an agreement dubbed a “2 + 2 agreement” the two institutes will work together to offer students a four-year pathway to obtain the degree from the College of Sciences at UL-L.

In the pathway, students will complete 60 credit hours at SLCC, which can then be transferred to UL-Lafayette, where they will complete the remaining requirements for the bachelor of science degree.
