According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert the Narcotics Division made the following arrests:
Jordon Bourque, 27, 207 East Vermillion Street, Abbeville, LA was arrested on April 15, 2015 at 10:57 pm for the following violations:
– Improper lane usage
– Driving under suspension
– Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
– Possession of drug paraphernalia
– Open alcoholic container in motor vehicles
– Warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery.
Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division patrolling the Berwick area observed a vehicle repeatedly crossing over the fog line on Highway 90 and conducted a traffic stop. Detectives made contact with the driver, Bourque, and learned that he was driving with a suspended license. Detectives also observed an open alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle. Continuing the investigation, detectives received consent to search the vehicle and located two bags of methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia. Bourque was transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Breonne Bowie, 27, 421 Lockett Road #2, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 15, 2015 at 11:22 am on two warrants for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Bowie turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. Bail is set at $100,000.
David J. Hayes, 29, 1807 Pine Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 16, 2015 at 1:16 am on two warrants for failure to appear for a drug court status conference. Hayes turned himself in to a drug court compliance officer at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin. Bail is set at $200,000.
Destiny N. Conley, 21, 109 Blakesley Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on April 16, 2015 at 2:21 pm on a warrant for theft (over $500). A deputy made contact with Conley at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and learned of the active warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation into an employee stealing merchandise from a store in Bayou Vista. Conley was released on a $1,500 bond.
Ramus A. Martin, 48, Hickory Avenue, Metarie, LA was arrested on April 16, 2015 at 2:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of issuing worthless checks. A deputy transported Martin from the St. Charles Detention Center to the St. Mary Law Enforcement Center on the warrant. No bail is set.
Stefan Weaver, 23, 150 Beham Court, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on April 16, 2015 at 10:15 pm for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy assigned to patrol the Bayou Vista area located a pick-up truck in a ditch off Highway 90. The deputy made contact with the driver, Weaver, and learned that he lost control of the vehicle while attempting to make a U-turn. Weaver was released on a summons to appear in court on July 22, 2015.
