As you may recall, Lipsticks Gentlemen’s Club was involved in a raid last month and received multiple charges. On Thursday the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control held a hearing to determine the future of the local club.

Commissioner Troy Hebert with the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control called the lipstick case a slam dunk after listening to the evidence provided by both sides in today’s hearing. As a result, lipsticks alcohol permit has been revoked and as well as the location of the club so that no other establishments that sell alcohol may take its place.

Commisioner Hebert says he based his decision off of citations of prostitution and drugs on the premises as well as the owner’s lack of responsibility. Hebert says the owner failed to maintain a sanitary establishment, and did not have a written policy for dancers to sign in compliance with Louisiana laws about nudity.

Lipsticks owner is barred from obtaining an alcohol permit for two years.
