LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)- One man has arrested on several drugs and firearm charges during an investigation by the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Lafayette Police Department.
The Lafayette Metro Narcotics Task Force and Street Team seized $813,922 in illegal drugs along with 13 guns, ballistic body armor and $11,552 in U.S. currency. The seizure led to the arrest of Richard Skinner, 33, on the following charges:

- • 40:966 Possession of schedule I (THC wax)
- 40:1060.13 Possession of legend drug
