SCOTT, La. (KLFY)- UPDATE: The Scott Police Department has released new information in an investigation into a deadly shooting that took place inside a family’s home Tuesday in the 200-block of Mills Street.
Early that morning, responding officers were met at the door by Kellie Boudreaux, 47, who appeared to be seriously injured, Scott Police Chief Chad Leger said.
Leger said officers quickly rendered aid to Boudreaux and Acadian Ambulance Services took her to a nearby hospital.
During their investigation, police found the bodies of 51-year-old Kendall Boudreaux and the couple’s 14-year-old daughter in a bedroom in the home.
The investigation is still ongoing and few details are available at this time.
Boudreaux is still in the hospital in critical but stable condition at this time, Leger said.
