CALCASIEU PARISH, LA (WAFB) – A man from Prairieville was arrested Saturday on his fourth DWI charge, say officials with Louisiana State Police.

LSP officials say on Jan. 12 just after 12 a.m., a trooper with Troop D was patrolling Highway 108 when he saw a pickup truck veering into the opposite lane. The driver reportedly hit the curb several times and was straddling the yellow center line. The trooper pulled over the driver, who reportedly showed obvious signs of impairment. The driver was identified as Ryan Lindeau, 29, of Prairieville.

Lindeau was arrested and transported to Troop D, where he provided a breath sample, revealing his blood alcohol content was nearly two and a half times over the legal limit of .08 percent.

Lindeau was charged with DWI (4th offense) and improper lane usage. He was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
