LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY)—Police have arrested one suspect and are seeking more in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said.

According to a spokesperson with the Lafayette Police Department, Damal Shavon Duhon was arrested for one count of second-degree Murder.

Police said Duhon was identified as one of the suspects in the fatal shooting which occurred on August 30.

Lafayette police have issued additional arrest warrants for both 18-year-old Tyron Coates, and 18-year-old Frederick Lawrence for second-degree murder in connection with the shooting, according to a news release.
