A Moss Bluff man died this evening after another driver failed to yield at a stop sign.
State Police say after reaching a stop sign, 22-year-old Hannah Borill’s car traveled into the path of a motorcycle driven by Peter McCarthy.
McCarthy “laid down” his motorcycle to avoid colliding with Borill, according to State Troopers.
McCarthy was taken to a hospital and later died, according to state police.
Borill’s car ended up in a ditch. she was not injured.
Borill was charged with failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.
Troopers say impairment is not suspected and the crash remains under investigation.
