According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Blake Smith, 24, 314 Tabb Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 7, 2015 at 2:12 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal trespassing. A deputy transported Smith from the Lafayette Parish jail to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville on the warrant. No bail is set.
Blaine Case, 21, 1722 Tadent Road, Youngsville, LA was arrested on April 7, 2015 at 7:17 pm at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a warrant from the Department of Public Safety & Corrections Division of Probation and Parole for felony probation violation. No bail is set.
Hugo Herminio Campuzano, 37, 3009 Mark Drive, Morgan City, LA was arrested on April 7, 2015 at 9:06 pm for domestic abuse battery. A deputy responded to a location in Bayou Vista in reference to a report of a battery. While in the area, the deputy located Campuzano and detained him. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Campuzano kicked a female victim in the shin during an argument. The deputy transported Campuzano to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Michael Bennett, 46, 129B Martin Luther King Boulevard, Patterson, LA was arrested on April 8, 2015 at 3:08 am for possession of Schedule I drugs and on a warrant from Morgan City Police for probation violation. A deputy assigned to patrol the Amelia area observed a vehicle on Jake D. Kent Road in the roadway with no lights on. The deputy made contact with three subjects standing near the vehicle. One of the subjects, identified as Bennett, was found to be in possession of two small bags of marijuana. The deputy also learned that Bennett had an active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Bennett to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
