Franklin Police Department responded to 9 complaints over the past 24 hours and made the following arrests:
3/4/15 @ 9:08 AM, Charles Beverly, 62, of Iberia St., Franklin, LA, was arrested and charged with Remaining Where Forbidden. Beverly was processed and released on a $500.00 bond.
3/4/15 @ 3:12 PM, Destiny Dinger, 26, of Tiffany St., Patterson, LA, was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on warrants for this department dated October 24, 2014, charging her with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia- 2nd Offense, Possession of Schedule II Narcotics (Methamphetamine), Violation of a Controlled Dangerous Substance Law (Drug Free Zones), Creation/Operation of a Clandestine Lab. The arrest stems from officers responding to a call of a possible clandestine laboratory in the 200 block of Cypress St. on October 24, 2014. Dinger was processed and held on a $25,000.00 bond.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office
March 5, 2015According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 49 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Carol Bowie, 52, 109 Dinkins Road, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on March 4, 2015 at 3:53 pm on the following charges:
* Warrant for reckless operation with an accident, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of open alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles
* Warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine and possession of hydrocodone
A deputy assigned to the Warrants Division located Bowie on Northwest Boulevard in Franklin. The deputy transported Bowie to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Jermiah Luke, 35, 105 Jordin Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on March 4, 2015 at 10:57 pm for disturbing the peace (intoxicated). A deputy responding to a complaint of a suspicious person on Southeast Boulevard in Bayou Vista located Luke and observed the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his person. The deputy learned that Luke was causing a disturbance by yelling and banging on the door of a residence in the area. The deputy removed Luke from the area, transporting him to his residence where he was released on a summons to appear in court on June 17, 2015.
Shawna B. Fields, 48, 150 Miller Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 5, 2015 at 12:47 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with a suspended license and improper lane usage. A deputy made contact with Fields on John Lane in Franklin and discovered the active warrant for her arrest. The deputy transported Fields to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
Clarence McBride, 47, 502 A Robinson Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on March 5, 2015 at 1:15 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple burglary. McBride was located at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office in Franklin and transported to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.
