AUGUSTA, Ga. (KLFY) – An Acadiana craft brewery is getting some international exposure at this year’s Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Ga. The tournament picked LA-31 Biere Pale as one of ten craft beers to be served in the hospitality facility at Augusta National. The beer is made by Bayou Teche Brewing in Arnaudville.

Bayou Teche President Karlos Knott said he found out several months ago the tournament wanted to serve his beer. Knott said they worked with a distributor in Georgia to get kegs of beer delivered to the Masters. He said he and his staff members are honored LA-31 Biere Pale was selected.

“We are thrilled that our beer is at this year’s Masters Tournament – excited to show everyone who goes this year what’s special about craft beer – and that a small brewery in Arnaudville, Louisiana can make it to the big leagues,” Knott said.
