LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) – Many residents look forward to Festival International every year.

One local couple enjoys the festivities so much they decided to get married right in the center of all the action.

Ethan Theriot and Beka Hebert said “I Do” April 22, during the Festival International.

Hebert tells KLFY, that they wanted their community to be a part of their special day, so they decided to have a public wedding right in the heart of Lafayette.

“My fiancé and I love our city so much that we felt like festival would be the perfect setting to reflect our love for each other and love for Acadiana.”

Friends, family and festival goers witnessed the event.
