Lafayette, LA – On April 12, 2015, at approximately 1:50 am, Lafayette Police responded to a home invasion in the 400 block of Strasbourg Drive.
According to the two male victims, three black male suspects forced their way into the home by kicking open the front door. Once inside the suspects ordered the victims onto the floor and began demanding money. The suspects were described as all wearing mask, dark clothing and armed with guns. Before leaving the residence, one of the suspects shot one of the victims in the left leg.
The victim who was shot was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The second victim was not injured during the incident.
Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department are encouraging anyone with information about the home invasion or the identity of the suspect to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
