As high pressure aloft gets stronger over Acadiana, Friday will be another scorcher with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Expect highs over the weekend to be in the mid 90s. The heat index each afternoon will be between 100°-110° Rain chances will be low each day.

Rain chances will increase early next week as a cold front movies toward Acadiana.
